Ice Climbing Lead
This course is aimed at experienced climbers who want to master climbing on trails and take the step towards greater challenges.
Experience the thrill and sense of mastery of ice climbing! This course gives you a solid start to ice climbing. We focus on basic skills, safety and adaptation to cold environments.
Content:
Day 1: Practice on short ice lines, establishment of stands, rappelling and abalakov techniques
Day 2: Climbing waterfalls over several rope lengths
Tactical planning for climbing on trails
Use of special equipment: ice screws, slings and fuses
The course gives you the skills and confidence to handle demanding ice climbing routes.
Through these courses, we want to share our passion for ice climbing and give you the skills to explore the winter landscape in a safe and exciting way.
