Registration

To sign up for a course, please use our registration form. For guided tours and trips, send an email to info@madguides.no.

You will then receive a response from us with more information and payment details.

Your registration is valid once the invoice from MAD Mountain Guides is paid.

 

Cancellation

Unless otherwise specified, the following applies:

- For cancellations 14 days before the event starts: 100% refund
- For cancellations 14 - 7 days before the event starts: 50% of the agreed amount is billed/refunded
- For cancellations 7 days or less before the event: no refund

MAD Mountain Guides may cancel/reschedule the event due to weather conditions, guide injuries, or insufficient participants. If this becomes relevant, you will be informed as soon as possible. We will always strive to provide you with an alternative experience. Participants will pay for the trip they take part in, regardless of what they were originally signed up for. If the event is canceled by the organizer, the full amount will be refunded unless otherwise specified.

 

Responsibility

The guide is ultimately responsible during our events. As a participant, you are also required to follow the guide's instructions and directions to ensure a safe experience together.

 

Insurance

MAD Mountain Guides has liability insurance for all its events. All participants are responsible for having insurance that covers the activity they are participating in. Check that your insurance covers the activity and any cancellation costs. MAD Mountain Guides does not cover costs related to cancellations.

 

Health Information

As a participant in our activities, you are required to inform us of any illness, injuries, or other factors that may affect safety during the event. This allows us to prevent unwanted incidents and provide you with a better experience.

 

Age

Participants under the age of 18 must either be accompanied by a guardian or have a signed consent form to participate.

 

Photography

When participating in trips with MAD Mountain Guides, you may be photographed by the guide or other participants. The photos may be used in our marketing through social media. If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us at the start of the trip.

 

Safety

As a participant in a course/guided tour, we will be traveling in or near terrain that carries some risk. We work continuously to ensure your safety through good planning and transparent guiding, and we encourage you to ask questions if you feel uncertain.
